Dallas-Based Healthcare Consulting Firm Acquired by Missouri’s BKD

The acquired firm helps hospitals capture reimbursable expenses and will join the BKD office in DFW.

Missouri-based BKD CPAs & Advisors has acquired CampbellWilson, LLP a Dallas consulting firm that focuses on healthcare regulatory consulting. The move will add to the 250 BKD employees already working in BKD’s Dallas offices.

“With the addition of CampbellWilson, BKD will strengthen what’s already one of the largest health care consulting teams in Texas,” said BKD’s South Region Health Care Industry Leader Chris Clark via release. “We’re especially excited about launching the time study system with our clients throughout the firm, giving us another chance to provide unmatched client service.”

CampbellWilson has a  proprietary physician time study system that helps hospitals capture reimbursable expenses on Medicare and Medicaid , which assists hospitals in capturing reimbursable expenses on Medicare and Medicaid cost reports. It is a $3 million consulting practice with 10 staff members.

“BKD has a great reputation in health care, not only in Texas but nationally. Our client base is national as well, so this combination will bring new services to our current clients while also creating some great opportunities for our existing CampbellWilson team,” said CampbellWilson founder and managing partner Manie Campbell via release.
