Dallas-based technology services firm NTT DATA Services has acquired digital design and transformation company NETE, which provides services for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
“NETE has pioneered innovative health technologies and supported the prevention, detection, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases and disabilities both domestically and internationally. Their digital capabilities and thought leadership enhance the value NTT DATA can deliver to our public sector healthcare clients,” said Tim Conway, President of the Public Sector for NTT DATA Services via release.
NETE has more than two decades of experience in digital services, app development, data analytics, cybersecurity, and more, working with HHS agencies that include the National Institutes of Health, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and Health Resources and Services Administration. NTT DATA Services is a local division of NTT DATA Corporation, an information technology services provider with 120,000 employees in more than 50 countries. The acquisition will add 300 employees to NTT DATA Services.

Following the acquisition, Somaiya will be on the NTT DATA public sector leadership team. “The depth and breadth of NTT DATA’s commercial experience among healthcare providers, health plans and life sciences, as well as its strong reputation in the public sector, will open the door for additional opportunities for NETE customers.”
