AccentCare Wins Top Home Health Designation

By |

Dallas-based post-acute healthcare provider AccentCare received the 2019 HomeCare Elite “Top” designation for fifty-three of its home health agency locations, ranking them in the top quarter of best performing agencies.

“Earning these HomeCare Elite distinctions is an honor that reflects our commitment and passion for quality patient care,” said AccentCare CEO Steve Rodgers via release. “I am proud of our many home health offices for being recognized as top performers in the nation.”

AccentCare operates a continuum of post-acute care services from non-medical to skilled nursing, hospice, and more. It employs 24,000 people across 16 states in more than 175 locations, providing care for 123,000 individuals. The designation is the result of an analysis of 9,000 Medicare-certified home health agencies that look at best practices, patient experience, finances, improvement, and consistency.

“Adherence to our clinical models and programs along with well-trained, compassionate clinicians, is the key to our success,” said said Sara Castillo, AccentCare’s Chief Nursing Officer via release.
