TPC named Roger Nolan as the healthcare group’s new president and chief executive officer. TPC is a partnership of healthcare providers that work together so that they can have the financial and operational benefits of a single system without having to sacrifice independence. Nolan will begin his role in September.
Nolan has been in the healthcare industry for over 30 years and most recently worked as a principal in business development and practice operations with the Irving-based company Vizient. He has experience with TPC, as he led the MedAssets team that was assigned to the TPC account from a previous job.
Nolan said via press release, “I am thrilled to be returning to TPC, moving from a trusted business partner to an organizational team member. Long recognized by the participating member health system’s unique approach to collaboration, TPC will continue to innovate and deliver on the highest standards of quality, value and stewardship in the communities they serve.”
“The selection committee was involved in an extremely comprehensive search process which we believe produced a very qualified slate of candidates and ultimately identified the best individual to lead TPC. Roger exhibits the experience and leadership skills our board considers essential to the success and growth of this organization. We welcome Roger and look forward to the vision and direction he will provide to advance TPC into the future,” said Chris Glenney, TPC board chairman, via press release.
