Medical City North Hills Will Have a New CEO

Mark Deno will be the CEO of Medical City North Hills beginning August 5 after serving as the COO of the The Medical Center of Aurora in Colorado.

Deno has been part of HCA Healthcare since 2014, most recently overseeing the Colorado facility’s addition of services and increased standards in stroke care, rehabilitation, and surgical services. He began his career in surgery centers in Colorado and Texas, including as the CEO of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington.

“Mark has a proven record of leadership with a dedication to providing exceptional, quality healthcare,” says Erol Akdamar, president of Medical City Healthcare via release. “We are delighted to welcome him back to North Texas to lead Medical City North Hills.”

“I’m excited to return to North Texas and to work in an environment where the commitment to compassionate, excellent care is demonstrated in every action, every patient, every time,” said Deno via release. “I look forward to working alongside the dedicated colleagues at Medical City North Hills that care for our community.”

Medical City North Hills is a 164 bed hospital and is a primary stroke center with Cycle 5 chest pain accreditation and a designated Level III trauma center located in North Richland Hills.
