As first reported in Community Impact, Medical City’s Plano and Frisco hospitals are looking for a new CEO as Charles Gressle is being promoted to become the Chief Administrative Officer for HCA Healthcare’s East Florida division.

Gressle has been CEO of Medical City Plano for six years, and three years ago he became the CEO for Medical City Frisco as well. A nationwide search for his replacement is taking place, as Gressle’s last day will be May 31.

“It has been my honor and privilege to serve the North Texas community. Together, we have accomplished many important medical milestones that have reinforced our commitment to the care and improvement human life,” Gressle said via release.  “Medical City Plano and Medical City Frisco have exceptional leadership in place and I am confident that these two hospitals will continue to grow to meet the healthcare needs of the many patients who entrust their care to us.”
