Texas Neurology is moving from Lakewood to a four story building near Mockingbird Station. The practice signed a 15-year lease in 40,252 square feet on the first floor of the building at 6080 North Central Expressway, and is expected to move in early 2020.
Texas Neurology serves a variety of neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s, muscular dystrophy, and ALS. The new location provides better access to Texas Neurology satellite locations in Richardson, University Park, and East Dallas, as well as Dallas area hospitals. The facility is also a short walk from the restaurants and entertainment at Mockingbird Station.
“As we started our search for a new headquarters, we wanted to find an office that would be a good fit both now and in the future, while also being more centrally located,” said David Evans, CEO of Texas Neurology via release. . “Our new location near Mockingbird Station will be convenient for our patients and beneficial for employees.”
“We worked with Texas Neurology for almost a year and a half to determine the best option for their next location,” said Mike Gosslee of Cushman and Wakefield via release. Goslee represented Texas Neurology in their property search. “Through our normal process at Cushman and Wakefield, we started the search early, which is especially important for such a large assignment. We considered a variety of options, from purchasing land to do a build-to-suit to going with a landlord-owned property. Ultimately, we found an excellent location that is entirely on the ground floor, providing great efficiency. It’s extremely rare to find 40,000 square feet on one floor in this type of urban setting, and we expect Texas Neurology will do very well there.”
