TMF Health Quality Institute, which partners with a variety of providers to improve the quality of healthcare, has named several North Texas hospitals to its 2018 Hospital Quality Improvement Program. The award recognizes quality data reporting and readmissions reduction and other positive outcomes.
Several hospitals in the Texas Health Resources, Baylor Scott and White, and Methodist systems were recognized for the Gold, Silver, or Bronze awards. The award partners with the Arkansas Hospital Association, Oklahoma Hospital Association, Oklahoma State Office of Rural Health, Texas Hospital Association and the Texas Organization of Rural and Community Hospitals and is awarded to hospitals in those states as well as Missouri and Puerto Rico.
“This achievement is the result of the significant contributions from our care teams to deliver quality care in a safe, healing environment,” said Sheri Winsper, vice president of Quality and Patient Safety at Texas Health via release. “It further recognizes their commitment to continually improve the overall patient experience for our consumers.”
