Adam Proctor has been named Chief Financial Officer of Medical City Denton, replacing Miah Stutts, who took a position with Medical City Healthcare’s parent company HCA Healthcare in Virginia.
Proctor will be in charge of finance, patient registration, health information management, case management, accounts payable, revenue integrity, and supply chain at the Denton facility. The acute-care hospital has 208 beds and employs more than 850 employees including 300 physicians, and serves Denton, Wise, Cooke and Montague Counties.
Proctor has been in the world of accounting and finance for 15 years, and for 13 he has also been in the healthcare industry. He was most recently division controller with HCA Healthcare in Kansas City, Missouri, and was also controller at Medical City Fort Worth from 2015 to 2017.
