Kirsten Gappelberg is the new Southwest Transplant Alliance Vice President of Marketing Communications and Foundation Relations. She will direct the organization’s community engagement activities, marketing and communications functions, and Outlive Yourself Foundation.
Gappelberg has 20 years of experience in the communications and corporate social responsibility fields. Prior to STA, she led similar efforts at Mary Kay Inc., where she ran The Mary Kay Foundation. She began her career with JDA Software and with public relations agency Springbok Cohn and Wolfe.
Southwest Transplant Alliance is a nonprofit organization that connects organ donors and those in need of lifesaving organs in much of Texas.
