Medical City Fort Worth’s Chief Nursing Officer Damita Williams will be honored as minority leader in business by the Forth Worth Business Press.

The awards honors Tarrant County’s top minority leaders in business and in the community and are based on nominations, professional achievements, community contributions, philanthropy and other criteria.

Williams has served in her current role since 2017, previously working as chief nursing officer at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, adjunct faculty for Indiana Wesleyan University’s Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership Program, and as a clinic director with Hope International Ministries in the Dominican Republic.

“I am thankful and grateful to be recognized by the Fort Worth Business Press,” said Williams via release. “This honor would not be possible without the great team at Medical City Fort Worth where I have the privilege of serving every day and many great women and men that have supported me throughout my career.”
