Rapid Recovery Center, a post-hospital rehabilitation center, opened its first North Texas location on Tuesday. The $22 million Fort Worth facility is RRC’s fourth overall, with another four planned to open in 2018 or 2019. All are in Texas.
With space for 70 patients, the Fort Worth center offers both physical and occupational rehab seven days a week, as well as a pharmacy dispensing system, dialysis coordination, electronic medical records, and other clinical support services. It also has its own hair salon and in-room dining prepared by an executive chef.
It will have live-in assisted living, as well—unfurnished units with amenities like housekeeping services, multiple dining options, an exercise room, movie theater, pub, bistro, and outdoor putting green.
When fully up and running, the center will employ 150 full-time staff.
“Fort Worth is one of the fastest-growing cities in the country,” Mark Fritz, president of RRC Texas, said in a statement, “and we’re thrilled to bring our innovative brand of health care to residents in this incredible community.”
