Medical City Frisco Gets National Accreditation For Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery

|

The Medical City Frisco Bariatric and Metabolic Institute has been accredited under the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and Quality Improvement Program.

The standards put a focus on creating a multidisciplinary program for bariatric surgical patients to improve long-term patient outcomes. They’re a collaboration between the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

Medical City Frisco is a 54-bed acute care hospital.

“This accomplishment demonstrates to our patients and community that our bariatric program meets the highest standards of care for people seeking surgical treatment for severe obesity and its related conditions,” Charles Gressle, CEO of Medical City Frisco, says in a statement.
