Dallas-based Health Insurance Company For Senior Market Grows Through Acquisition

By Shawn Shinneman |

Dallas-based Integrity Marketing Group has acquired part of a Cincinnati-based agency, expanding its presence in the Midwest and piling another 2018 deal onto its growing stack of them.

The company, a national distributor of life and health insurance products for seniors, announced that it has acquired the senior market division of Cornerstone Broker Insurance Services Agency. Cornerstone serves Ohio and the surrounding states, and helped more than 30,000 seniors enroll in Medicare-related plans last year. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

Integrity has been busy this year. Earlier this month, it announced an acquisition of GoldenCare USA, a national wholesaler of long-term care, Medicare Advantage, and Medicare Supplement products. The Minneapolis-based company helped bring Integrity to 325 full-time employees in addition to its 130,000 independent agents, the company said in a release. GoldenCare founder Lenny Anderson became an owner of Integrity through the deal.

In February, Integrity acquired American Independent Marketing, a Washington-based company of similar aim. It’s founder, John Wane, also became an owner. Integrity bought regional companies Insurance Marketing Group (Connecticut-based) and Western Penn Marketing (Arizona) in January and February, respectively.

The terms of those deals were kept private, as well.

Of the most recent regional buy, Integrity CEO Bryan Adams told the Cincinnati Business Courier that various carriers were seeking out Ohio. “This is an opportunity to get ahead of that entrance and partner with someone who is looking for a larger parent to maximize that opportunity,” he said.
