Dallas-based AccentCare Acquires Home Health Company

|

Dallas-based AccentCare, Inc. has purchased a home health company and merged it under Texas Home Health, its regional brand for home health care, the company said Wednesday.

AccentCare acquired the Medicaid attendant care portion of Quality Care Services, which serves clients in the Beaumont area. The acquisition was effective on Feb. 1.

Quality Care will hold onto its private pay attendant care segment.

“We are proud to have the Medicaid segment of Quality Care Services, well regarded in the communities it serves, join the AccentCare family of companies,” AccentCare CEO Steve Rodgers said in a statement. “This will help us provide in-home independence to even more seniors who are in need of care.”

The move follows AccentCare’s late-December purchase of West Texas-based Nurses Unlimited, which provides home health in addition to personal care services and private duty nurses.
