Nashville Company Acquires Dallas Pediatric Therapy Provider

Dallas-based Sage Care Therapy Services has been acquired by a Nashville, Tennessee behavioral health company.

Dallas-based Sage Care Therapy Services has been acquired by a Nashville, Tennessee behavioral health company.

ChanceLight Behavioral Health and Education this week snapped up the Dallas company, which employs 100. It offers physical, occupational, and speech therapies to about 750 patients who are 21 and younger. They are each referred by physicians, hospitals, community partners, or home health agencies.

ChanceLight is present in 27 states, and Sage will be joining its behavioral health division.

“Sage Care’s compassionate therapists and therapist assistants provide quality care and a path to independence for their patients, many of whom have multiple special needs,” Mark Claypool, ChanceLight president and CEO, said. “Sage Care and ChanceLight share the same values, and we both provide services to give children and young adults the opportunity to create successful, independent futures.”

Financial information was not disclosed.
