In the midst of a quarter that found its parent company taking a hit from fees related to its aggressive acquisition strategy, Conifer Health Systems continued to expand its profits.

The Tenet Healthcare Corporation’s services organization grew its EBITDA by 36 percent year-over-year, posting about $60 million. Frisco-based Confier earned about $44 million in the same quarter in 2014. About $28 million in revenue came from non-Tenet customers, the company reported, a 19 percent increase.

Conifer’s overall revenue increased by $55 million to a total of $340 million, compared to $285 million last year. That’s a nearly 20 percent jump.
