The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services said Monday that it would not immediately enact a number of proposed changes to its prescription drug program, Kaiser Health News reported.

The draft, which was first presented in January, would have sliced two of its six protected drug categories—antidepressants and antipsychotics—and would’ve limited insurers to offering two plans in the same coverage area, either basic or enhanced.

Kaiser reported that many critics of the changes were concerned that patients would be unable to receive the drugs they needed. The changes were challenged by a consortium of 370 groups representing seniors, patients, health care providers, and employers, the news outlet said.
