Dallas-based Visiting Nurse Association plans to end its home health-care operations in March and shift to a focus on hospice and private-duty nursing service. According to a Mercer salary study, Hospital and health system CFOs earned an average compensation of $227,700 in 2012; those at hospitals with at least $1 billion in net revenue made an average of $428,500.
