Med Synergies CEO J.R. Thomas has been named a finalist for Modern Healthcare’s Community Leadership Award. One winner and several honorable mentions will be selected from among the 10 national candidates, determined 50 percent by online voting and 50 percent by Modern Healthcare execs.
Among other things, the magazine cited Thomas’ efforts to help to launch a Health Careers Resource Center for career training that supports healthcare students in Dallas-Fort Worth, and getting Irving-based MedSynergies to align with Staubach’s Allies in Service to help provide jobs for veterans.
