CDC Deems Aerial Spraying Success

By Jessica Melton |

According to the CDC, areas of Dallas County that received two nights of aerial spraying had a 93 percent reduction in disease-carrying mosquitoes.

NBCDFW reports that although there has been a significant reduction, the CDC will continue to check throughout the summer, and mosquitoes who carry the disease will continue to be a threat until the year’s first freeze.

Due to results, Dallas County will not proceed with additional sprayings.
