Get Your Vegan Food Fix at Texas Rangers’ Stadium

Globe Life Park has landed the No. 1 spot on PETA's list of Top 10 Vegan-Friendly Ballparks.

A Rangers game isn’t complete without an ice-cold beer and a hot dog (especially on Dollar Hot Dog Night). But many vegetarians and vegans have often skirted around the concession stands at Globe Life Park, settling on peanuts. A solid and safe vegan option.

The ballpark heard its herbivorous fans’ demands and responded with the launch of a vegan cart in 2016—a move that’s earned them the title of Most Vegan-Friendly Ballpark in the U.S. by PETA. Globe Life beat out ballparks in more overall vegan-friendly cities such as Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco.

This is quite a feat for a stadium known for outlandish, deep-fried, meat-filled options such as a 2-foot-long tamale with a hot dog center. These are offerings that only the State Fair of Texas’ Big Tex Choice Awards can outshine.

The vegan cart is parked in Section 16 near the third-base line. There, you’ll find nachos topped with dairy-free cheese, chili, black bean tamales, burgers, and—of course—hot dogs.
