After GRIT Fitness’s 1-hour toning and cardio class kicks your butt, bask in the endorphins at a sweet and sweaty after-party, which includes a DJ, champagne, swag bags, and prizes for the coolest neon fitness gear.

The event is from 9—11 p.m. at Altitude on the 33rd floor of the W Dallas Victory Hotel and the mash-up workout begins at 9:30. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased here.

Try Dallas’s swankiest gym—sorry, fitness club—for free. In celebration of its first ever pop-up shop with premium men’s activewear brand Rhone, Equinox in Preston Hollow is opening one of their popular fat-blasting MetCon3 classes to the public. Class is from 6:30—7:20 p.m, with shopping discounts, a Rhone activewear pop-up sale, and gift bags available afterward.

5K Foam Fest

Splash, stomp, and slip your way through 22 obstacles—including mud pits and the world’s tallest inflatable water slide—plus 2.5 million cubic feet of foam at the DFW Adventure Park. Towels and showers are provided! Spectators will enjoy the food, vendors, beer gardens, and free Kids Zone.

Registration is from $63—$78 (prices increase for every 1,000 tickets sold).

 

project:OM at The Star

Hit the field in Frisco to join yogis for project:OM, hosted by Susan G. Komen and yoga brand Manduka. You may even leave some good vibes behind for our next football season.

Registration is $10 (though feel free to donate more!). All proceeds will benefit Susan G. Komen.

 

Strut Your Mutt

Animal lovers, get some fresh air and raise money for the SPCA of Texas. Bring your four-legged friend or fly solo in a timed 5K (8:30 am) or the 3K fun run/walk at the scenic Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge (9:30 am).

Registration includes a t-shirt, a goody bag with coupons and a dog toy, and food and drink at the event.

 

Mimosa Run

Whether you run the timed four-mile race or the chill two-mile fun run/walk, this event is all about the bubbly and burritos that await at the finish line. Races start at 8:30 am at Panther Island Pavilion. Each runner gets two drink tickets and a food ticket for the perfect brunch-run reward.

AcroYoga at the Grove

Take flight with a beginner acro-yoga class hosted by the Dallas Fitness Ambassadors. Led by An Truong and Paige Martindell, the class is open to all levels and begins at 10 am at the Grove at Harwood. Bring a mat and a water bottle.

Tacos & Tequila Pub Run

This month’s thirsty Thursday pub run features the Quadrangle’s TNT Tacos and Tequila. Run, walk, and socialize at your own speed for three miles, followed by food specials and beer on the rooftop patio.

Online registration is $10 and includes your first beer.

Silent Disco Pilates

Shut out the world with noise-canceling headphones and lose yourself in the movement and music. Led by Pilates Live founder Alexia P. Hammonds, the class runs from 6:30—8:30 pm at the new West Village mural. Stick around for vendors, giveaways, and samples.

Headphones and tunes are provided, but bring your own mat and water bottle. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here.

Muddy Mortal

Still waiting for your Hogwarts letter? Don’t miss this magical weekend festival at Skyline Ranch from May 19—21. Saturday’s 5K obstacle course will pit you against fiery cauldrons, a dark horde of soul-snatchers, and other wizarding obstacles. Give yourself plenty of time to explore the wand shop, live craftsman demonstrations, magic classes, wizard duels, Quidditch, broom races, and much more.
