It’s difficult to go a weekend in North Texas without hearing about or seeing a 5K. While the idea of competing against other runners may sound a little intimidating, these events can be a great way to engage with the city and help support causes. (Plus, it’s hard to be scared of anyone who’s running while covered in color or LED lights.)

Whether you’re an advanced runner who loves competing for better times or a newcomer to all things 5K, give one of these upcoming runs a go.
