Dallas Zoo Euthanizes Giraffe. Fifteen-year-old Ferrell fell and dislocated his jaw, which he’d injured 13 years ago, leaving him unable to keep his tongue in his mouth. The new injury, according to the Zoo, would have made it “nearly impossible for him to eat.” Since 2015, five other giraffes have died at the Zoo.

White Settlement Homeowner Finds Grenade Inside Wall. The new owner of a house was doing some renovations when the person found a hand grenade inside a wall. The street was blocked off while cops and fire fighters investigated. Eventually it was determined that the grenade lacked explosive material.

Mavs Fall to Jazz. They lost 127-90. Not great. And a Jazz player, Jordan Clarkson, got the team’s first triple-double in 16 years of regular-season games.
