Mavs Get Boat Raced. From the Denver Post: “Luka Doncic put on a sensational, long-distance, one-man show, but he was no match for the Nuggets’ multifaceted balancing act. Led by big nights from Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon and Reggie Jackson, the Nuggets cruised to a 130-104 victory over the Mavericks Monday night at Ball Arena.” Luka had 38 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists.

Stars Win in OT. From the Seattle Times: “It was a group of angry, not dispirited, Kraken players who stomped through an arena corridor in their skates toward the visitors’ dressing room after an overtime defeat in which they’d fought back to earn a point but clearly wanted more. Some of them paused to watch a hallway television replay of the extra session Thomas Harley goal that sealed Monday night’s 4-3 loss, uttering some choice curse words and shaking their heads.” Matt Duchene had two goals and the game-winning assist.

Dallas Cops Launch New System to Deal With Vehicle Thefts. Auto thefts are up some 40 percent in Dallas, and response times from DPD are running to 12 hours. Now when you call 911 to report a car being stolen, you’ll be connected to a video chat call with a cop who will generate a report, which will then go to the DPD’s 12-officer auto theft unit. About 18,000 vehicles have been stolen this year in Dallas.

Craig Watkins Burial Today. The funeral for the former Dallas district attorney was yesterday at Concord Church. He will be buried today at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
