Botello was visiting from Seattle and was last seen leaving a Deep Ellum bar. Her body was found six months later in Wilmer. The Dallas County District Attorney’s office dropped murder charges against two others, Nina Mariano and Charles Beltran on Tuesday. Dykes’ attorneys say she will appeal.

Three Arested for Alleged Sex Trafficking. The U.S. Attorney’s Office says three North Texans have been arrested on sex trafficking charges after a multi-year investigation by the Plano Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Officials say William McKinley Garland of Plano and Jalen Alexander Bobo of Dallas could face up to a year in prison if convinced. Robberta Marie Khan of Euless faces up to 20 years.

Enjoy the Sun. Because after today it’s going to be a bit gloomy, rainy, and chilly for a couple of days.
