FC Dallas Falls to Lionel Messi and Inter Miami in Penalty Shootout. Did Messi live up to the hype? Oh, I don’t know. The first time the ball touched his foot, he casually hit a perfectly weighted 40-yard pass that couldn’t have landed any better at his teammate’s foot if he dropped it from six inches away. The second time, he scored. Still, FC Dallas looked to have the game in hand, going up 3-1 and then 4-2. But Messi would not be denied and sent it to penalties with a frankly insane free kick.
