Teen Shot, Killed in Lake Highlands. Police were called to a shooting a little after 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, where they found a teenager who had been shot on Skillman Street just north of Walnut Hill Lane. Police say an “unknown suspect” is responsible. The victim died at a nearby hospital, but the cops haven’t released any identifying information.

Whole Lot of Rain Today and Tomorrow. Storms will likely hang around through lunch or early afternoon today before breaking up. Tomorrow brings a risk of severe weather, which could create conditions for significant winds, hail, and tornadoes. The largest risk is east of us, but we’re right on the edge.

Fairfield Lake State Park Is Closed. Monday was the final day the public could enjoy the state park after Vistra Energy Corp. sold it to Dallas developer Shawn Todd’s Todd Interests. The 50-year (free) land lease expired without the state matching the $110 million price tag.

Mavericks Lose to Pacers. This one by two, after Kyrie Irving missed a three and Dallas failed to secure a rebound. They’re 1-5 in their last six games.
