Mavs Blow Big Lead, Lose to Lakers. The Mavs were bombing threes, the Lakers were missing them, and it all added up to a 27-point lead in the first half. That had almost been cut in half by intermission and it just got worse after that. Maxi Kleber can’t come back soon enough. I don’t think that fixes the defense on its own, but it’s a start.

FC Dallas Loses Season Opener. Going down 1-0 to Minnesota United broke a 13-match unbeaten streak in season openers that dates back to 2010.
