His name is Christopher Rogers and he is being charged with [deep breath] Driving While Intoxicated—2nd Offense, Resisting Arrest, Assault on a Public Servant (for the police officer), Assault on a Public Servant (for the paramedic), and Aggravated Assault on a Public Servant. He’s in a Denton jail.

Ursuline Academy President Apologizes For Yearbook Photos Showing Students in Blackface. Gretchen Kane correctly notes that the photos — and the event that prompted them, Senior Slave Day — should have been unacceptable 40 years ago, when they were taken. A note to North Texas private schools: if you have any blackface photos in your yearbooks, and I feel like you probably do, go ahead and get in front of it now and apologize and do what you can to make it right before you find yourself on the defensive.
