Ken Paxton Under Investigation, Again. You’ll recall the Texas Attorney General was indicted in Collin County two years ago on securities fraud charges. That case is ongoing. Now the district attorney in Kaufman County is investigating Paxton for allegedly taking a six-figure bribe from the CEO of a company the attorney general’s office was investigating, apparently to help fund Paxton’s original legal battle.

SMU Fraternity Suspended Over Hazing Allegations. Investigators say that pledges were forced to wear vomit-covered clothing, paddled, and “forced into servitude.” The Kappa Alpha Order chapter at the university can return in 2021.
