Zeke Elliott Suspension Starts Today. Probably. Judge Katherine Polk Failla last night denied his motion for a preliminary injunction. So that’s it. Well, except that she also granted a 24-hour stay on her ruling so that Elliott can contemplate appellate options, whatever that means. You really do need a law degree to be a Cowboys fan. Let’s hope Alfred Morris, Darren McFadden, and Rod Smith are ready to go for the next six games.

The Supreme Court refused to hear his appeal, and Cortez is now looking at a death sentence, though the date for that has yet to be set.

Cold and Rainy Tonight. If you’re a parent, you’ve probably already checked the forecast. Not the best for trick-or-treating. Good luck!
