A global technology-recruitment firm is expanding into downtown Dallas with plans to employ more than 300 people, which would make it the company’s largest U.S. office.

U.K.-based Frank Recruitment Group has signed a lease to operate its Nigel Frank International brand in 12,000 square feet of space on the 24th floor of Ross Tower in downtown Dallas. It’s currently in temporary space at Ross Tower, and plans to move into the new office on June 5.

The company, which employs 1,400 people globally and generates more than $100 million in revenue annually, will initially hire about 100 employees, with the ability to expand to employ more than 300 and occupy 26,000 square feet. Nigel Frank focuses on Microsoft technology recruitment.

“We’re known in Europe, but we’re looking to serve the U.S. better,” said Paul Briggs, executive vice president of Frank Recruitment, who’s traveling between the U.K. and Dallas to set up the new office. “We’re here to compete, not [just] participate.”

The Dallas office is the company’s first foray into Texas. It has U.S. offices in San Francisco, New York, and Philadelphia. The local office will be led by Paden Simmons, vice president of Frank Recruitment. Frank Recruitment, founded in Newcastle, England, in 2007 and acquired by TPG Growth last year, chose Dallas due to its talent, affordability, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and “vibrancy” within the technology community, Briggs said.

“Our goal is for this office to not only be our largest, but our most productive,” Simmons said in a release. “Dallas has a huge group of talented, hard-working, and highly motivated people. … It’s a really exciting time to be working in Dallas right now.”

Robbie Baty, senior director, and Travis Boothe, director, in Cushman & Wakefield’s Dallas office, represented Frank Recruitment Group in the deal. Ross Tower, a 45-story building, was acquired in 2015 by a partnership between HPI Real Estate Austin, Bandera Ventures of Dallas, and Second City Real Estate of Vancouver, British Columbia. The building is currently undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation.

“There’s an enormous amount of conversation about the momentum behind the innovation and technology industries in Dallas, particularly downtown,” Kourtny Garrett, president and CEO of Downtown Dallas Inc., said in a release. “The move of Frank Recruitment Group is indicative of that momentum, and world-wide recognition that downtown Dallas is a great place to do business, as well as a leading-edge hub of thought leadership, creativity, and talent recruitment.”
