Yesterday we had a look at the happiest, most Republican voting precinct in Dallas County. Today, let’s drop the Dallas City Council district map on those voting precincts and see what we can see. Ah, yes. This might help explain why Councilwoman Jennifer Staubach Gates, of District 13, tagged Trump on Twitter early yesterday morning:

There’s been a lot of talk of Gates running for mayor. She’d be a formidable candidate. But not if she overlooks the fact that just to the south of her red Trump island lies an enormous sea of blue.
