You Should Read Ben Fountain in The Guardian

The author of Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk has been writing essays for The Guardian. This is his seventh, and it’s about the Fantasy Industrial Complex, the crazy state of affairs that has produced Donald Trump and keeps too many folks (according to Ben) cowed by the notion of the American Dream. So, yeah, it’s a totally upbeat essay. Give it a read.
