If you haven’t heard of Dallas Innovates yet, it’s a joint operation run by D Magazine Partners (which publishes D Magazine) and the Dallas Regional Chamber. Read more about it here. Aaaanyway, Dallas Innovates brings us the news today that Jason Roberts, the urbanist pied piper of Oak Cliff (all due respect to Patrick Kennedy), is launching the Better Block Foundation with a $775,000 grant from John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Good news indeed.
