How was your weekend? Fort Worth soul singer Leon Bridges spent his performing on Saturday Night Live. What about your Monday? How’s that going so far? Bridges started his week off with a Grammy nomination.

Your weekend may not have reached those heights. I’m not promising your Monday will be all that special, either. But maybe if you do some things in Dallas, you can come close.

The Meyerson’s giant Lay Family Organ and the Dallas Symphony’s brass and percussion sections blast into a selection of traditional Christmas tunes this evening. The Organ and Brass Christmas Spectacular begins shortly after 7 pm.

The timeless popularity of Shakespeare and alcohol has made Shakespeare in the Bar one of the hottest tickets in town. The weather is ideal for tonight’s show at Wild Detectives, and that backyard will be absolutely packed. Online tickets are long gone, but 50 additional tickets will be on hand at the North Oak Cliff bar/coffee house/bookstore starting at 5 pm. The Tragedy of King Richard III is on the program.

Have you done any of these 50 things for Christmas yet? Perhaps tonight you could head out to Addison’s Vitruvian Park to take in one of the more scenic Christmas light shows in North Texas.
