Our longtime theater critic — a very talented writer, performing arts expert, and all around nice person — is moving on to greener, fuller-time, steadier-paying pastures. It means we (over at Front Row) are losing one of the best critics in Dallas, and we need someone who will be able to fill those very capable boots.
Are you a writer willing to contribute 4-5 theater reviews/miscellaneous stories a month for minimal glory and even less money? Are you knowledgeable about the performing arts in North Texas? Can you string together coherent sentences and communicate critical thought in an engaging fashion? Do the articles found here look like something you can do?
Then this is the freelance gig for you.
Send headshots (kidding), along with a resume and several published clips of your writing (not kidding) to [email protected].
If you spell it “theatre,” please do not apply. Thanks.
