Girl Dies After Falling Off Moving Car

I mentioned this in Leading Off last week. Octavia Watkins was one of six kids riding home from a neighborhood pool in Crowley because their clothes were wet. She was 12. She died of blunt force trauma to the head. The driver, Kisha Young, was booked on charges of driving while intoxicated, intoxication assault, and injury to a child. I imagine at least one of those charges will be upgraded.
