So, if you took my advice yesterday, you went and heard the poet Kenneth Goldsmith read his work at the Reading Room here in Dallas.

Tonight, he’s in Cowtown, where he’ll give a lecture titled “My Career in Poetry or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Institution.” This is part of the Tuesday Evenings at the Modern series, which are always highly recommended.

Tickets to Ellie Goulding at South Side Music Hall have been sold out forever. If you really want to try, StubHub has a few, starting at $123 for the standing room GA ticket. Yikes.

Elsewhere, the Texas Theatre screens Breathe In, a film about a British exchange student stirring up a family’s life in upstate New York. Director Drake Doremus, who was also behind Like Crazy, another film about a British student in the states, and stars Felicity Jones and Amy Ryan will do a video Q&A after the movie. The Alamo Drafthouse has a Clue quote-along.
