Where Are the Biggest Dallas Speed Traps?

Help us map them.

Sammy Hagar is incapable of driving his vehicle at less than 55 miles per hour.
Are you like Sammy Hagar? Incapable of driving your vehicle at less than 55 miles per hour?

Inspired by the news last week of the Frisco man arrested for holding a sign that warned drivers they were approaching a spot where police had set themselves up to catch speeding vehicles, and because I got pulled over on Interstate 30 in Rockwall County last weekend, I thought we’d try to put the wisdom of the FrontBurner crowd to use and invite you to help us map the speed traps you contend with on a regular basis.

Just click on the brackets in the top right corner to take the map below full screen, and then use the balloon-shaped “Add a Marker” tool to place yours. (Suburban entries welcome also.)

Farmers Branch! Everywhere in Farmers Branch. Be aware that Farmers Branch actually extends to cover LBJ west of 35 and often has speed traps.
