Parkland-JFK

“Crowds, including hospital staff, media, and police, stand outside the Parkland Hospital emergency room waiting for news about President John F. Kennedy,” November 22, 1963.

Unfortunately Parkland has changed so much in the last 50 years that we weren’t able to create a satisfying present-day shot to accompany this image. Instead I’m presenting it here as a complement to the photographs of that tragic day that ran in the November issue of D Magazine.
