D CEO Story Snags Philbin Award

|

A few months ago, D CEO contributing editor John G. Browning wrote about the new UNT-Dallas College of Law, which is set to open next year in downtown Dallas. Browning discovered mixed prospects for the new venture, as it will open during a time of declining law-school enrollments and a rocky legal job market. Monday, the Dallas Bar Association named Browning’s April story the year’s best magazine feature in its 30th annual Stephen Philbin Awards competition, which recognizes excellence in legal reporting. Browning also snagged the magazine Philbin for D in 2010, when he wrote about the “Dangers of the Online Juror.”
