Today on DTV: Airlines Making Headlines (7/2/13)

By D Television |

What you missed today:

GoAir is stirring debate by declaring they will only hire lightweight female flight attendants. The airline defends the decision by claiming it’s purely logistical and could result in cost savings. (Yes, and complaint letters.) Courtney points out other companies with hiring practices that could be perceived as discriminatory. (She’ll probably get some, too.) Hey, at least they didn’t call them stewardesses.

Incidentally, if you are going to pen your grief to the airline, perhaps take pointers from the hilarious complaint letter Richard Branson received; it’s going viral.

Why to watch tomorrow:

  • Determine whether you’re self-obessed
  • Get some life advice during “Suzie Says So”
  • Overcome your fear of public speaking
  • Build a parenting library that will keep you sane with D Moms editor Joslyn Taylor
