Watch Wendy Davis Live Here

By |

As Tim eventually mentioned this morning, State Sen. Wendy Davis, of Fort Worth, is filibustering the new abortion bill. She started at 11:18 a.m. During her speech, Davis isn’t allowed to eat, drink, take a bathroom break, sit, or even lean on the podium. Also, the speech must be about the bill, about the topic of abortion. (Read all the rules here.) A few minutes ago, she was telling her personal story about how there was a time when, she says, Planned Parenthood was the only healthcare she was receiving.

Right now #standwithwendy is trending on Twitter in the U.S. You can watch a livestream here.
