Patrick Stewart Gives Some Serious Props to Mayor Mike Rawlings

This is serious. At Comicpalooza 2013, Patrick Stewart was asked a question about violence against women, and he gave a passionate response that included a name check of Mayor Mike Rawlings (fast forward to the 6:00 mark, if you like). As a journalist, this troubles me deeply. Because now that Captain Jean-Luc Picard has endorsed Rawlings, I can never write another negative thing about the man. It would be one thing if, you know, Lieutenant Worf or even Commander Riker had praised Rawlings. That I could ignore. But this is a game changer.
