animated-nightlife-1The third round of this year’s Best of Big D Readers’ Choice voting starts in just a few days. To prepare, you’re going to have to go out and party at the best spots for drinking and dancing, seeing and being seen, in the city. We hope you take this obligation as seriously as we do.

You know the drill: our survey will be open for two weeks, and you can vote once a day for all your favorites. Ballots can be cast via desktop, laptop, or internet-connected mobile device.

So come back on Monday to vote. Until then, to see the categories for which we’ll be picking winners (and therefore the topics that you’ll need to research), take the jump.

1. What’s the best dive bar in Dallas?
2. What’s the best lounge?
3. What’s the best sports bar?
4. Which bar has the best patio?
5. What place has the best karaoke?
6. What’s the best live music venue?
7. What’s the best gay bar?
8. What’s the best place to dance?
9. What’s the best place to eat after midnight?
10. Which bar has the best view?
11. What’s the best hotel bar?
12. Which serves the best bar food?
13. Who has the best beer selection?
14. Who makes the best cocktails?
