Paris Review Publishes Dallas Love Letter, Part Deux

Earlier today, I mentioned that the Paris Review ran an Edward McPherson piece about Dallas, and Dallas. Few hours later, I got an email from McPherson, which reads, in part:

…they’ve posted part 2, which is more of an on-the-scene look at the city and includes (among other things) a fist-bump from the great Larry Hagman three weeks before he died.

I hope you enjoy part 2. I’m perhaps more partial to it because the reporting was so fun. (In other words, I’m always glad to come home.)

    Midway through the piece he writes that “the business of the city is conducted below the 6th floor” in the Schoolbook Depository — sorry, Edward. It is the county of Dallas that conducts business there.
