Downtown Dallas looks like the Misty Mountains. With any luck, there’s a Balroq lurking around Ross to spice things up.

Something that might also make your Monday more exciting: the Meddlesome Moth‘s April Ale Week, a full six days of special Texas beer tappings in honor of the Moth’s birthday. The kick off brew is an English pale ale called Royal Scandal from Peticolas Brewing Company. Michael Peticolas will be on hand to celebrate the new release, and the beer gets tapped around 5 p.m. Zucchini chips, here I come.

Or, head to Arlington and help the Rangers not-quite sell out Yu Darvish’s major league pitching debut. Darvish, with Napoli catching, will take on the Seattle Mariners tonight in the first of four regular season games. You can still get cheap upper deck tickets, which of course means you can splurge on that $26 hot dog/pant size expander. Nancy Nichols and Jason Heid have made their observations and predictions, so I will leave you with their superior knowledge.
